Private chefs in Punta Cana advertise meals in villas and vacation rentals. A celebration dinner has a different staffing and shopping brief from breakfasts and dinners for several days. Provide the dates, adult and child counts, desired meal times and whether the same guests attend every meal.
Define the menu and the full price
Ask whether the proposal includes ingredients, shopping, cooking, table service, drinks and cleanup. Establish a grocery budget or fixed menu and agree how substitutions are approved. Discuss dietary requirements directly with the chef before accepting a menu, and ask what the kitchen can accommodate.
Check the property before booking
Confirm the host allows outside chefs and send information about the kitchen, dining seats, utensils and building access. A chef is not automatically an event planner: decorations, furniture, musicians and extra servers need separate agreement.
